Spectre is an anonymous local confessions app. This policy describes exactly what the app sends to our servers, what we keep, and for how long. Where a number appears below, it is the number the running code uses.
1. What we collect

2. What we do not collect
- We do not collect your real name, phone number, address, or payment details.
- We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK. There is none in the app.
- We do not read your contacts, calendar, files, or browsing history.
- We do not record audio except the voice notes you choose to record and send.
- We never sell your data, to anyone, for any purpose.
3. Advertising
Spectre shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob uses your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads. That is a Google service governed by Google's own privacy terms, and you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your Android settings at any time. We do not send AdMob your email, your location, or anything you have written.
4. Who else sees your data
- Our email provider receives your email address in order to deliver your sign-in code. It processes it on our behalf and for no other purpose.
- Google AdMob, as described above.
- Our moderators can see content that has been reported, in order to act on the report. They cannot see your email address, because we do not have it.
That is the complete list. Nobody else receives your data, and we do not share it for advertising or for anyone else's purposes.
5. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Sign-in codes expire after ten minutes. Sessions can be revoked, and are revoked automatically when you delete your account.
6. Your choices
- Delete individual content. Posts, replies, chats and notifications can each be deleted from inside the app, without deleting your account.
- Delete your account. Settings → Delete account. See how account deletion works for exactly what is removed and what is kept.
- Turn off notifications in Settings, or in Android's app settings.
- Turn off location in Android's app settings. Spectre cannot show you a local feed without it.
7. Children
Spectre is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child is using the app, write to us and we will remove the account.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.

Spectre adalah aplikasi pengakuan anonim berbasis lokasi. Halaman ini menjelaskan apa yang dikirim aplikasi ke server kami, apa yang kami simpan, dan berapa lama. Setiap angka di bawah adalah angka yang benar-benar dipakai kodenya.

2. Yang TIDAK kami kumpulkan
- Kami tidak mengumpulkan nama asli, nomor telepon, alamat, atau data pembayaran.
- Kami tidak memakai SDK analitik maupun pelaporan crash. Tidak ada satu pun di aplikasi.
- Kami tidak membaca kontak, kalender, berkas, atau riwayat penjelajahanmu.
- Kami tidak merekam suara selain pesan suara yang kamu pilih untuk direkam dan dikirim.
- Kami tidak pernah menjual datamu, kepada siapa pun, untuk keperluan apa pun.
3. Iklan
Spectre menampilkan iklan lewat Google AdMob. AdMob memakai ID iklan perangkatmu untuk menayangkan dan mengukur iklan. Itu layanan Google, tunduk pada ketentuan privasi Google, dan kamu bisa mereset atau menghapus ID iklan itu di setelan Android kapan saja. Kami tidak mengirim email, lokasi, atau tulisanmu ke AdMob.
4. Siapa lagi yang melihat datamu
- Penyedia email kami menerima alamat emailmu untuk mengantar kode masuk. Ia memprosesnya atas nama kami dan tidak untuk keperluan lain.
- Google AdMob, seperti dijelaskan di atas.
- Moderator kami bisa melihat konten yang dilaporkan, untuk menindaklanjuti laporannya. Mereka tidak bisa melihat alamat emailmu, karena kami memang tidak memilikinya.
Itu daftar lengkapnya. Tidak ada pihak lain yang menerima datamu, dan kami tidak membagikannya untuk iklan maupun untuk kepentingan siapa pun.
5. Keamanan
Seluruh lalu lintas antara aplikasi dan server kami dienkripsi dengan HTTPS. Kode masuk kedaluwarsa setelah sepuluh menit. Sesi bisa dicabut, dan otomatis dicabut saat kamu menghapus akun.
6. Pilihanmu
- Menghapus isi satu per satu. Postingan, balasan, chat, dan notifikasi bisa dihapus dari dalam aplikasi, tanpa menghapus akun.
- Menghapus akun. Setelan → Hapus akun. Lihat cara penghapusan akun bekerja untuk daftar persis apa yang dibuang dan apa yang tinggal.
- Mematikan notifikasi di Setelan, atau di setelan aplikasi Android.
- Mematikan lokasi di setelan aplikasi Android. Tanpa itu Spectre tidak bisa menampilkan feed sekitarmu.
7. Anak-anak
Spectre tidak ditujukan untuk siapa pun di bawah 18 tahun. Kami tidak dengan sengaja mengumpulkan data anak-anak. Kalau kamu tahu ada anak yang memakai aplikasi ini, tulis ke kami dan akunnya akan kami hapus.
8. Perubahan
Kalau kebijakan ini berubah, tanggal di puncak halaman ini ikut berubah.
